To follow up on the commitment made by the Government of Argentina to ratify the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and counting on the experience of the European Union of more than 20 years in the implementation of climate policies, the III National Conference on Energy Efficiency is organized in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The event will take place on June 7, 2019 and will be attended by Gustavo Lopetegui, Energy Secretary of Government, Aude Maio-Coliche, Ambassador of the Delegation of the European Union in Argentina, national and regional authorities, and representatives of international and European organizations that will share the progress registered in Energy Efficiency policies and will make an analysis of the successful experiences of other countries.The Conference is organized by the Under-Secretariat of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency of the Energy Secretariat of Government, Ministry of Finance, and the "EnergyEfficiency in Argentina" project funded by the European Union that assists Argentina`s Administration in its effort to shape a more sustainable, efficient energy sector, and respectful with the environment.This year the III National Conference on Energy Efficiency is organized with the support of the European Union, who collaborates with Argentina in the development of Energy Efficiency initiatives in various sectors, prioritizing the promotion of green economy to achieve reductions in greenhouse gases without compromising economic growth.
